Beyond Looking: A Sensory Journey at Blå Hallen

Beyond Looking: A Sensory Journey at Blå Hallen

Year Two: From Display to Experience

Returning to Blå Hallen for our second year, exciting together with Swedish painter Josefin Tolstoy, we've completely reimagined what an exhibition corner can be. This isn't just about showcasing work - it's about creating a full sensory experience where visitors don't just observe art, they live within it.

Touch, See, Smell, Connect

Our corner invites you to engage with creativity through all your senses:

Touch - My ceramic and design pieces are meant to be held, felt, experienced through your hands. The weight, texture, and temperature of handmade ceramics tell stories that eyes alone cannot capture.

See - Josefin's paintings create the visual landscape of our space, drawing you in with color and form, setting the emotional tone for everything you'll discover.

Smell - Handcrafted fragrance from APFR, Japan adds an invisible but powerful layer to the experience. Scent has the unique ability to create immediate emotional connections and lasting memories of a moment.

Handcrafted Room Scents - Selected by AT. Available in our online shop.

Connect - Most importantly, we'll be there to talk. Not as distant artists behind barriers, but as conversation partners ready to share the stories, techniques, and inspirations behind each piece.

Art as Living Experience

We believe art shouldn't live behind glass or ropes. In our corner of Blå Hallen's historic warehouse, we're creating what we call a "living gallery" - a space where the boundaries between creator, creation, and audience dissolve.

When you pick up one of my ceramic pieces, you're completing the creative process. When Josefin's paintings catch your eye while the fragrance settles around you, you're not just viewing art - you're inhabiting a carefully crafted moment.
