It began with a simple coffee cup. A rounded shape, made by hand and designed to fit perfectly into yours. It evolved into finding the essence of good coffee cup – function and aesthetic working in tandem. As the question grew more complex, the answers also did, and soon the collection came to include more use-objects, but also decorative pieces. Andrea found meaning in the process, it took her to a place without stress, somewhere where she could better hear her creative inner voice.
Soon Studio ANDREA TSANG was born, and through it she expresses that true essence – the sum of her inspiration, experiences and creativity.

Established in 2020 by designer Andrea Tsang, our studio swiftly transcended borders, journeying from the dynamic cityscape of Shanghai to the tranquil vistas of Stockholm, Sweden, in 2021.

Our mission is to offer more than
everyday functional objects. We strive to strike a balance between decorative art pieces and Scandinavian functionalism, enhancing the ambiance of homes.

At our core, we believe in celebrating individuality and authenticity. Just as every person is unique, so too are our creation — an embodiment of our commitment to craftsmanship and excellence.

Our collections are not just objects; they are gateways to a realm of boundless inspiration and transformation. TERRA, imbued with the essence of our deep connection to nature, serves as a powerful testament to the beauty of our planet and the imperative of its preservation. MIZU, born from Andrea's quest for inner peace amidst the ebb and flow of life's waves, invites you to embark
on a journey of self-discovery and authenticity. And AMPHORA, with its timeless allure and echoes of ancient civilizations, transports you to a realm where past and present converge in a harmonious dance of culture and heritage.

About Andrea Tsang

Studio ANDREA TSANG is my answer to a question that’s been with me since I left art school. Through over a decade of work as a fashion designer and consultant, it’s been under the surface, not fading but growing more important. At the onset of the pandemic I went in search of the answer.
"I’m Andrea, the fashion-designer-turned-ceramicist behind Studio ANDREA TSANG. Tired of the fashion industry grind, I left it all behind to pursue something to me more meaningful – getting my hands dirty with the most basic of materials, clay. I left Hong Kong and Shanghai behind for the serenity of Scandinavia, and since 2021 I work out of my Stockholm studio, exploring timeless shapes and designs inspired by the East Asian pottery tradition and functionalist Scandinavian design philosophy. In designing and creating with my own two hands, from raw clay to finished item, I found the answer to my question."
