We carefully select sustainable materials, such as locally-sourced clay and non-toxic glazes, to minimize environmental impact. Our studio operates with energy-efficient practices, and we strive to minimize waste by repurposing and recycling materials wherever possible.

Additionally, we prioritize longevity and durability in our designs, creating pieces that are built to last. By investing in high-quality craftsmanship and timeless aesthetics, we encourage mindful consumption and discourage disposable culture.

    Series

    TERRA

Exposed dark reddish-brown clay evoking the heat, the bright sun and laterite soil of the equator. The exposed dark clay and the soft contrast of a warm palette of earthy tones celebrate the beauty and essential nature of the soil. Functional and unadorned, TERRA unites a feeling of deep time with modern everyday life.

    Andrea Tsang

I’m Andrea, the fashion-designer-turned-ceramicist behind Studio ANDREA TSANG. Tired of the fashion industry grind, I left it all behind to pursue something to me more meaningful – getting my hands dirty with the most basic of materials, clay.

I left Hong Kong and Shanghai behind for the serenity of Scandinavia, and since 2021 I work out of my Stockholm studio, exploring timeless shapes and designs inspired by the East Asian pottery tradition and functionalist Scandinavian design philosophy.
